During a severe snow storm the men were experiencing great difficulty in moving the trucks. A waggonman finding that he could not move six trucks on a gradient of one in 72, went for three more in to bump them away, but while he was absent, the six moved away and deceased was found shortly afterwards lying under the screens with his back broken, the six waggons having run in to some more wagons standing there.
