Blantyre - Colliery Accident - Fatal Termination - It was with general regret that the people of High Blantyre learned of the death of a well-known and highly respected citizen in the person of Mr Robert Nimmo. A widower, having lost his wife two years ago, he resided with his widowed daughter at 16 Cemetery Road, High Blantyre. He died from the result of an accident which befel him when, on Monday afternoon, he was working at the face of No,2 pit of Blantyre Collieries.
