Deceased and other colliers were attempting to pass a stationary full journey on their way out from work, when the journey started, and deceased was caught by the last tram and carried 360 yards down the haulage road. They had been told by a fireman, who preceded them, not to try to pass until he shouted that all was clear, but they followed close behind him.
