Deceased told the heap-keeper that his knee had been crushed between the tubs and showed the bruises. No one saw the accident. His duty was to regulate the empty tubs gravitating to the shaft and he had to move the suitable levers, and may quite easily have been nipped as he described. He died on 18th August, 1913.
