14 April 1931: Crushed By Hutches - While at work in Woodyett Pit, of the Herbertshire Colliery, Denny, yesterday, James Murray (56), married, and residing at 64 Broad Street, Denny, was caught by a runaway rake of empty hutches and sustained serious crushing injuries.
