28 March 1915: Young Miner Killed – James Murgatroyd, 16, miner, who resided at Lightburn Road, Cambuslang, died in the Glasgow Royal Infirmary on Sunday as the result of injuries sustained in an accident at Messrs Dunlop & Co's Newton Colliery on Friday.
