Crushed in conyeyor. James Campbell Muir (54), Colliery Worker, 8 Hawthorne Crescent, Fallin, died in Stirling Royal Infirmary on Tuesday morning (26 November). He had his left arm caught in the gearhead of a conveyor belt. He received medical attention at the Pithead and was thereafter removed to the Infirmary where he succumbed on Tuesday morning. Mr Muir, who was a popular and highly Respected member of the community, is survived by Mrs Muir and a grown up family of two sons and two daughters, to whom sympathy is extended to their great loss.
