Details of Event
Mountford in the course of his work had to attend to a hand winch. At the end of the shift he was found partially helpless, & Complained of having received a blow in the stomach from the handle of the winch. He died on July 24th, and a post-mortem examination showed an injury to the bowel of sufficient severity to cause death.
