Falls in Mine (b) Falls of Roof – He was working at the coal face when a stone 14 ft by 3 ft. by 10 in. fell from the roof and killed him outright The stone thinned to a fine edge at one side and broke away from a slip or break at the other side. Two props were displaced by the fall. The place was examined by the fireman four and a half hours before the accident and found in satisfactory order.
