The deceased was withdrawing the timber in a road, preparatory to blasting down the brushing, when a piece of flakey rock, 5 feet by 5 feet 8 inches thick fell from the brushing and killed him. No appliance was used to take out the timber, and as he was withdrawing it, another was drilling a hole in the stone above.
