Details of Event
A corporal had left a set or ten empty tubs standing on a haulage road, with four lockers in the wheels of the last two tubs, and had gone back to see why a haulage motor had stopped. Deceased, who was further inbye, was thought to have started the set by jerking the couplings of the lower tubs, and to have been unable to control the set when in motion. He was knocked down and received injuries which proved fatal on the following day.
