Deceased was working along with another miner in a longwall face when he suddenly fell off his cracket and died without speaking. No accident happened to him. The Local Inspectors examined the place and reported that they 'found it in good working order and safe.' The doctor pronounced death to be due to heart disease and no inquest was held.
