On returning to the mouth of a shothole 6 feet deep and in which four charges of powder (1.5lb, 1.5lb. 2lb. and 4.5lbs) had been successively fired another explosion occurred and deceased was killed on the spot. It was stated that 10 minutes had elapsed between the previous explosion and that which caused the accident.
