Deceased took two trams of coal down a heading, dipping 2 inches per yard, and when he arrived at the level came to a stand. He then removed the sprags from one side and it was thought, was stepping over the gun to remove those on the other side, when the horse moved on and he was run over. His spine was fractured, and he died on the following day. The horse was very quiet.
