Deceased was charging a hole with gelatine dynamite, and in contravention of the Special Rules, was using an iron tool, instead of one of the wooden rammers provided by the Company. He had pushed home about a dozen in cartridges when an explosion occurred. He died the following day. Two other men who were in the working were injured.
