Details of Event
Fall of roof on a road in thick coal about 25 yards from back. The carrying bar across the entrance to a side road was reeled out by a bump which brought down four bars with polings and slabs on the main road where deceased was sitting. There was a slip thing in the coal roof parallel with the carrying bar. The place seems to have been well timbered and none of the timber was broken.
