30 January 1918: MINING FATALITY IN WEST LOTHIAN. - At Blackrigg Colliery, owned by the United Collieries, Ltd., Joseph Mills, a miner's drawer, Westrigg, near Armadale was yesterday jammed between two hutches and instantaneously killed.
