Deceased was clearing up a fall of dirt in from of the ripping on a main level preparatory to strengthening the timber, when a further fall of roof occurred, displacing a bar and three props set under it, & Completely burying him. The road was only 4 feet below an old waste, and the ground being composed of small loose material lying on the timbers it is probable. He was suffocated as there were no marks of injury on his body.
