12 January 1916: Kelty – Accident – A pony driver in the Lindsay Pit, Andrew Michie, 15 years of age, who resides with his parents in Millers Buildings Kelty, was caught by a pillar stick while at work on Wednesday, and severely injured in the lower part of the body.
