At face, coal, 6.5ft. by 2.5ft. by 4ft. thick, fell while he was holing under it, directly he holed to a face slip. Two sprags were said to have been found under the fallen coal but of this I am rather dubious. The spragging in the rest of the workings on the following day was found to be indifferently done.
