Things falling from part way down – He was riding on a bogie in an inclined shaft when he was struck on the head by a small piece of stone and knocked down the shaft 600ft. The stone may have been dislodged by the winding rope or electric cable which was being lowered or by one of a set of men in another bogie 240ft above. The inclined shaft was being unwatered and recovered. – NAS & death cert
