31 March 1937: Cambuslang Mineworker Killed - Neil M'Inally (57), unmarried, who resided with his sister at 77 Dukes Road, Cambuslang , was killed while at work in Bardykes Colliery, Blantyre, belonging to the Summerlee Iron and Coal Company (Ltd.) yesterday morning. Deceased was at work with a coal-cutting machine at the time and was jammed by the jib, death being instantaneous. [Scotsman 1 April 1937]
