Inspection made and inquest attended. The deceased persons were at the bottom of the downbrow tunnel and appear to have connected the wires of a shot to a cable attached to the electric (haulage) signal which exploded the shot fatally injuring Collinson and also Bibby who succumbed to the injuries received at the Wigan Infirmary. 2 killed.
