10 July 1918: Blairhall Miner Killed - A [fall] of coal in the Dumbrae seam of the Lord Bruce Pit of Blairhall Colliery was responsible for the death on Wednesday of James McDougall (36), miner, residing in the Coltness Iron Company Village.
