Details of Event
Unramming an unexploded charge of gunpowder. Whilst charging the hole, using an iron rammer, the fuse was cut. They then began to bore out the whole charge, when it exploded. Deceased was blown from the ledge he stood upon, falling 75ft. to the bottom of the quarry.
