Details of Event
Deceased was found within a few yards of the shaft in a kneeling position quite dead. Traces of blood were discernible to a point about 150 yds away where he had left a load bogie which he had brought out from a hurry about 100 yards further inbye and which point he had left two hours before he was found. There were no marks on his body and nothing to suggest an accident was observed He had apparently burst a blood and bled from the nose or mouth. No inquest was held.
