Roof fall. 17 Scotstoun Road, Cowie, died in Killearn Hospital last Thursday from injuries received at Millhall Colliery early that morning. He was injured by a fall of debris from the roof in the underground workings. As a token of their regret, the men employed in his section were idle the following day. (Stirling Observer).
