While in the act of attaching a set of five full tubs to an endless rope travelling at a speed of 2.5mph another set in rear of the one he was attaching to the rope collided with and pushed it forward. The first tub passed over him and caused such injured that he died five hours afterwards. Deceased had charge of the roadway and ought to have had the rope stopped before attempting to attach the set of tubs.
