He was crossing a line to were his work was, through between the buffers of two waggons which were standing with the brakes fastened down, when another bumped the last one and forced it forward. He appears to have been stooping to get under the buffers at the time as he was caught by the back of the head and killed. He should not have crossed between the waggons as he did.
