NB NAS gives name as Hugh Martin Fleming 1 August 1938: Hugh Martin 46, oncost worker, employed by the Fife Coal Co., was fatally injured while at work underground in the Randolph Colliery, Dysart, yesterday. He had been engaged on an incline when he was caught by a hutch, which moved forward as he was positioning it on the rails. Deceased was married, and resided at 88 East March Street. Kirkcaldy.
