Deceased was breaking away a place in a stoop and room working in a seam 3ft thick having a roof of fakey clay. He had fired a bursting and a cut shot in the coal and finding they had shaken the overhanging fireclay he proceeded to secure it with prop. While setting the prop the clay fell upon him causing injuries which resulted fatally two days afterwards.
