Deceased was employed in driving a place for a water-lodge off a level in which a steam separator had been placed. He was looking round for a dry spot on which to lay his clothes before commencing to work when he accidentally trod on the unprotected handle of the tap on the drain pipe of the separator. He was badly scalded and died at the Infirmary 3 days later.
