Whilst removing large stone from ledge of quarry, pulling it by the crane and easing the stone by levering with 60lb. crowbar; when nearly off the ledge the stone toppled over, caught the crowbar, causing it to throw Wright from the ledge; Mackerel, in trying to grab hold of Wright fell from the ledge. The height of the ledge above the bottom of the quarry 28 feet, ledge 16 feet wide. The stone weighed about 3 tons. Died 6th April. 2 killed.
