He had fired a shot in a longwall road, and had been dressing down the roadside when a stone suddenly fell from between two lypes, and caused injuries to his head. He was working alone at the time and was found, sitting by the side of the road unconscious, by his neighbour when he went into the place. Deceased did not recover consciousness.
