Deceased was kirving at the face of a 9 feet wall, when a fall of store occurred from a pot hole in the roof. He was injured internally and died next day. The last set of gears was just 6 feet from the face the maximum timbering distance. There was room for another set of gears, and there was no reason why such should not have been set. It might have prevented the accident.
