Details of Event
He was levelling the coal on a tub he was filling when a fall of roof place, and he was so seriously injured by being crushed between the top of the tub and the fall of the stone that he died the following day. The place was well timbered. A sprag had been drawn under the coal and s the coal fell the roof stone followed it.
