23 June 1932: Miner Killed At Addiewell - A miner named James Logan, who resided at 56 Loganlea, Addiewell, lost his life by an accident in Loganlea Colliery, belonging to the United Collieries (Ltd) He was at work when a quantity of stone and debris fell from the roof upon him.
