Deceased was in a kneeling position while holing. A small stone fell from the roof and he turned round and knocked on the roof to test it. While so doing, a fall of roof occurred and deceased was partially buried. He died from the effects of the injuries on the same day. The fall disclosed two slips previously unseen. The setting of a prop would probably have prevented the accident.
