Deceased was engaged in holing in the bottom portion of the Thick Coal, when a piece of batt 2ft. by 1ft. 6ins. and about 6 ins. thick, forming the roof above the Sawyer coal, fell upon his shoulder and side injuring his ribs. He walked home, and was more or less under medical treatment until October 4th when he died the medical evidence being that death was due to Cancer, accelerated, if not produced, by the accident.
