At face, coal, 7ft. by 4ft. by 6ins. thick fell off a vertical break as deceased was stooping to pick something up. Two sprags were crushed out. There had been no work in the stall during the four days preceding the accident. This would cause the coal to be fractured, and so be liable to break at the sprags. Six feet seam.
