He was standing close by the jenny wheel of a selfacting incline waiting for his journey to land. Another journey came down from the incline above unnoticed by him and crushed him against the wheel. By some means his arm became entangled between the rope and the revolving jenny wheel and was wrenched off just above the elbow from which death resulted.
