Fall of roof at face. While cutting coal at the face of a recently opened stall, a stone from a shale roof averaging 7ft by 3ft 6ins and tapering in thickness from 1ft. 3ins. to nothing, fell upon him, and killed him. One prop was said to have been discharged. Brass Vein. Naked lights.
