Fall of side on road while clearing a way debris from rippings which had been shot down on his roadway, a large stone fell out from above a corner cog, and badly smashed his left leg below the ankle. He is said to have bled very freely. He died at the Swansea Hospital on the 3rd of April. Middle Vein. Safety lamps.
