Fall of roof on road. While setting an arm under a collar to take the place of one which had been broken by pressure, a prop, which had been set temporally under the collar, slipped out. The timber fell down and a fall of roof 7 ft long by 3 ft. wide and 5 ft in thickness occurred, killing the fireman. Bushley seam. Naked lights.
