He left his work and went 16 yards away from it to watch some men who were working on the dirt heap. He was standing with his back against the buffer of a wagon with another wagon three feet from him. The wagon lowerer lowered another two and they bumped into the wagon in front of him and he was crushed between the buffers and killed.
