Whilst deceased was engaged in pushing some full tubs of coal along a level past the bottom of a jig brow, in the Lower Florida Seam, be was fatally injured by a large fall of roof which knocked out a running bar and six cross bars. The fall measured 15 feet by 10 feet wide by 10 feet high, and came away without any warning.
