Fall of roof at longwall face in shallow seam. The face was advancing on both sides of an old abandoned road in the solid coal which caused the roof to be unusually bad at the place where the accident happened. Deceased was preparing to set a post when a fall of top coal reeled adjoining timber out and killed him.
