Fall of roof (shale) on a road near longwall face in Brooch seam. The fall occurred at a place where the empty tubs were sided over to allow the loads to pass out. A bar supporting the roof near the place was split and a fireman ordered the colliers to set two bars, one on each side of it but they only set one; if they had set the other it might have prevented the accident.
