Deceased was sent a message at the top of the quarry an, instead of going by the proper way he proceeded by path on the top of the rock and down by the tirring and fell into the hole below a distance of 52 feet. He was not discovered for some time as happened at the dinner hour. The part where he fell was very narrow and had been used by the miners although they were forbidden.
