Fall of coal from face from a slip had drawn sprags, taken down a length of coal, piece of coal 2ft. 4 ins. long 18ins wide did not fall. In place of pulling it down he put a sprag and began to hole in the dirt when the coal forced the one sprag out and it fell on him. It was impossible to secure a piece to a rank slip with one sprag.
